With AI encroaching, perhaps changing forever what it means to create images and other art in this digital medium, this feels ever more relevant. As someone who played and experimented with Flash since age 11, who found refuge over and over in opening up a blank canvas, timeline set at 12 fps by default, who learned all its little quirks and glitches, heard those crappy stock sound fx a million times, and wrangled the program through its various permutations, time and again, to make it do what i wanted... as close as possible... this touched me. thanks for your thoughts on the program and the technology and media of art.
